Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Nick Reyes is a seasoned trial attorney with a unique passion for mastering the art and science of jury selection. With a proven track record of securing multi-million-dollar verdicts in high-stakes litigation, Nick has earned a reputation as a formidable advocate for his clients and a trusted resource for fellow attorneys seeking expertise in voir dire and trial strategy. Licensed to practice in Florida, Oregon, New Mexico, Hawai’i, and Washington, D.C., with pro hac vice privileges in Nevada, Illinois, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, Nick brings his skills to courtrooms nationwide.
Nick’s journey began at Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, where he excelled as a lacrosse player and worked as a part-time physical therapist assistant. He went on to graduate from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s in English and a minor in
Psychology—skills he now leverages to connect with juries and decode human behavior in the courtroom. At St. Thomas School of Law, Nick completed his J.D. in an accelerated 2.5 years, launching his legal career by age 25.
Under the mentorship of his father, Retired Miami-Dade Circuit Court Judge Israel “Izzy” Reyes, Nick honed his skills in complex commercial litigation. He later joined the Alvarez Law Firm, where he shifted his focus to high-stakes products liability law, amassing
an impressive portfolio of trial victories. Today, Nick specializes in jury selection and voir dire, offering his expertise to attorneys tackling multi-million-dollar cases. Whether acting as lead counsel, co-counsel, or a jury consultant, Nick’s strategic insight into juror psychology has consistently delivered results.

- Gopher, et. al (Broward, FL) – Assisted as a jury consultant for jury selection; resulted in a $833 million verdict.
- Manious v. R.J. Reynolds (Kona, HI) – First chair and conducted voir dire; secured a $91 million verdict. Worked up the case from start to finish, either taking, defending or supervising all fact and expert witness depositions. Nick defended the Defense Motions for Judgement as a Matter of Law and assisted in arguing jury instruction at the charge conference.
- Highsmith (Broward, FL) – Assisted as a jury consultant to pick the jury; resulted in a $48 million medical malpractice verdict.
- Higgs v. R.J. Reynolds (Portland, OR) – Co-first chair and conducted voir dire; obtained an $18 million verdict. Managed the case end-to-end, including all depositions.
- Ricapor-Hall v. Philip Morris (Honolulu, HI) – Co-first chair; delivered a $14 million verdict. Worked up the case from start to finish, taking and defending all fact and expert witness depositions.
- Rey v. R.J. Reynolds (Miami, FL) – First chair and conducted voir dire; achieved a $13.5 million verdict. Supervised case preparation for trial.
