Xavier Navarro Attorney | Partner

Xavi Navarro brings over two decades of experience spanning the finance, technology, and legal sectors. Currently a Partner with The Alvarez Law Firm, Xavi specializes in jury selection, product liability, and tobacco litigation. He has successfully tried cases to verdict in Florida, Oregon, New Mexico, Hawai’i and Illinois. In addition to those states, Xavi has advised on trial jury selections in Ohio, Nevada and Minnesota cases and also worked in jury selection in various Multi-District Litigation cases.  

Xavi has been involved in helping his firm’s clients secure over $130 million in verdicts including a $18 million verdict in Oregon and a $91 million verdict in Hawaii. In his jury selection practice, Xavi has been involved with over $540 million in verdicts in a consultative capacity assisting attorneys throughout various aspects of jury selection. He is currently barred to practice in Florida, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.  

Prior to his legal career, he worked in the technology industry having served as the Director of Business Development for Entic Energy Analytics and in IBM’s NYC Wall Street Unit focused on technology sales to large investment banks, retail brokerage firms, asset managers, and commercial insurance. Xavi also spent time in the finance sector working in the retail brokerage units of Citigroup’s Smith Barney and Wachovia Securities servicing large net-worth individuals and entities structure portfolio investment strategies. 

Xavi holds a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Florida with minors in entrepreneurship and mass communications. He also has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. Xavi earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Florida International University College of Law where he achieved Dean’s List Honors every semester and also received the Cali Excellence for the Future Awards in Torts and International Law. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 girls.
